Über mich
Mein Name ist Melinda. Viele Leute nennen mich Meli. Seit ich denken kann, war ich immer auf der Suche nach dem tieferen Sinn des Lebens. Ich habe Fragen wie: Was ist der Sinn unseres Daseins? Was ist der Sinn meines Lebens? Wofür bin ich hier? Wer bin ich wirklich und was bedeutet es, heil zu sein?
Wie alles begann
Als ich mit Lili schwanger war, hatte ich diesen Gedanken: „Ich möchte für diese junge Dame mindestens eine Decke stricken, bis sie kommt.“
Nachdem es fertig war, wollte ich nicht aufhören und begann, für meine Freunde und Familie verschiedene Dinge zu stricken. Ich lernte neue Muster, vertiefte mich in den Strickprozess und, was am wichtigsten war, ich fühlte mich mit der Person, für die ich strickte, verbunden, und die Nachrichten begannen zu fließen.
Es ist nicht „nur ein gestricktes Stück“. Was ich stricke, hat immer eine Bedeutung und es enthält die Botschaft, die für die Person bestimmt ist . Das macht alles, was ich schaffe, einzigartig und hat die Qualität eines Kunstwerks.

On a rainy and cold autumn day, walking in the forest, my heart struggled between the many sad shadows of the past, trying to return to the colors of the present. There wasn't a single person in the forest at that time except a young woman who, at that exact moment, in that exact spot, on that tree with the heart scratched into it, was trying to photograph a scarf that had exactly the same colors from my heart in that one moment and because that wasn't enough, she asks me if I can hold this scarf to the tree next to the scratched heart... to immortalize it.”
