About Me
My name is Melinda. Many people call me Meli. As long as I can remember, I have always been on the search for the deeper meaning of life. I have questions like: what is the meaning of our existing? What is the meaning of my life? For what am I here for? who am I really and what does it mean to be whole?

How it all started
As i was pregnant with Lili, i had this thought: “I want to knit at least one blanket for this young lady until she arrives.”
After it was ready I didn’t stop and I started knitting for my friends and family different things. I learned new patterns, i deepened in the process of knitting and most importantly i started feeling connected with the person i was knitting to and the messages started to flow.
It is not “just a knitted item”. What I knit has ALWAYS a meaning to it and it is energetically loaded with the message destined for the person. This makes that all what create is unique and has the quality of an art piece.

“Knitted messages is not only made to warm up your body, but it also keeps your soul cozy. Nothing is random. Every aspect of the product is carefully thought through and uniquely designed to match the future owner – the design, the color choice and combination, the shape, even the pattern – everything has a message. Made with so much passion, dedication and commitment, Meli is taking the art of knitting to a completely new level. It`s an experience rather than just another product.”

“I received a lovingly knitted blanket for my son from Melinda. Through her connection, she managed to transform the wonderful story of how we met (my boyfriend and I) into a work of handcraft; It's not just a blanket, it's a story and it is the reason why our son was named after this desert - Sinai. I could never have imagined that this could be told in such a wonderful way. Best of all, I'm reminded of it every time I tuck my son in the fluffy desert landscape. Thank you Meli!”

Nothing is random.
On a rainy and cold autumn day, walking in the forest, my heart struggled between the many sad shadows of the past, trying to return to the colors of the present. There wasn't a single person in the forest at that time except a young woman who, at that exact moment, in that exact spot, on that tree with the heart scratched into it, was trying to photograph a scarf that had exactly the same colors from my heart in that one moment and because that wasn't enough, she asks me if I can hold this scarf to the tree next to the scratched heart... to immortalize it.”

The knitted messages
The knitted messages

Our parents and grandparents went through a lot and have done great things so that we can go our path with more ease.
Here you see how my grandmother is unwinding a yarn so that I can knit easier.
The metaphor is amazing.

Life is a constant becoming.
We are part of life’s cycles.

The human divine nature.
We are part of divine nature and divine nature is part of us.

When i reflect upon life, i gain wisdom, i get inspired and receive messages which flow into my creations.
