My name is Melinda. Many people call me Meli. As long as I can remember, I have always wondered on the deeper meaning of life.
Wanting always to see behind the veil, having a deep knowing that there is more of what the plain eye sees, wanting to grasp how life can be this interconnected and wanting to know what it is to be whole.
Born in Romania in a Hungarian family, learning at a young age that families are not only harmonious and on my search to find my answers, connecting with people of different nationalities on their mother language, my purpose was always to find my home. Throughout these connections I learned to trust and follow more and more my intuition and discover with every step that for me home is to be found...in myself.
The brand “meli” was created when our daughter, Liliana came into our life. Basic instincts awakened.
I was reminded that life is living in natural cycles and that we are an important part of it.
It is not “just a knitted item”. What I knit has ALWAYS a meaning to it and it is energetically loaded with a message.
This makes that all what I create to be unique and to have the quality of an art piece.
As we learn to feel life with our hearts, we get to see and acknowledge it and so we slowly remember who we REALLY are and we give in into life’s flow, for

My offer
I am knitting in basic patterns and guided by my intuition. I really believe that at the base of everything all is easy. In the process of knitting I am connected energetically with the person I am knitting to. We are actually holding within us our own messages. The knitted items are just making it visible. You are an important part in the whole process of the knit-creation.
I work only with natural materials: Merino wool, sheep wool, baby-alpaca, cotton, mohair, silk hair, etc.
Every item is hand made by me with Magic, Enthusiasm, Love, Intuition.
The price for a knitted message contains:
– our conversation one on one: where we get to know each other and you share with me what you want and i have the opportunity to energetically connect with you and get a feeling for you.
– the material cost and shipment cost to your address
– the complexity of the knitted item
– the message
