Meli’s work is something very special. At first I couldn't imagine much about the personal messages - that changed immediately when I held her first work for us in my hand. The blanket she made for me and the message that accompanied it fit perfectly with the changes that were happening in my life. When Melinda started working, I was living a completely different life than when she finished her work - and the message fitted perfectly. As if Melinda had intuitively felt how much was moving in me and around me. When my son was born there was the smaller matching counterpart to my blanket and again: the message was so incredibly appropriate even though Melinda only knew my little one from stories up to that point. Now we like to snuggle up in our very own blankets and enjoy the wonderful warmth of the wool.
